“The exhibit features work by 30 artists, all recent graduates of CalArts, whose practices use an extensive range of media and explore a vast variety of topics. CalArts’ unbound curriculum, which is built individually by the artist, leads to a wide range of content that is fortified by the Institute’s six schools… The art school has a foundation embedded with feminist discourse, practices dependent on the artist’s actions and voice and a sense of community.”
